I know its not that much of an accomplishment to some, but to me it felt great. I play in San Ramon, CA at a room called Crown Billiards. I first met him there about 2 years ago. He always does his occasional barking and whoofing, and thats how I met him. He actually gave me my nickname, fearless phill, and everyone knows be by that now. Anyhow, I've been playing for almost 4 years(literally did not pick up a cue until about 4 years ago) and started playing one pocket about a year and a half ago. After learning the game, I absolutely loved it and would play with anyone that would play regardless of their speed and how much they wanted to play for so I could get better. Finally Bucktooth offered to play me cheap, $10 a game even up, about 3-4 months ago. Let me say, for his age, he still knows his moves. But the first time we played he beat me 20 in a row, yeah, I know, I suck. The second time we played which was on monday, he still beat me 6 in a row, but this time I was hanging with him, but not just quite enough to beat him. Than finally tonight, something just kicked in. He got up 4 games on me, than I finally beat him on the 5th by making to difficult banks. The next game I went 8 and out and he just started going nuts. We played about 10 games total and I won 5 of them. Like I said, to some this may not be anything, but to a 60 speed in USPPA I felt great. Anyhow, I just wanted to share one of my new found memories of the love for this game and bucktooth. Some may dislike him, but to me he's a nice guy.Thanks.
