Thats what i thought. Whats the need for the wrap then, if your holding the cue at the butt? I've read on here alot, that you shouldn't be holding the cue that far back, that a longer cue is needed because your not holding the cue near the balance point. Different strokes for different folks. I'm going to have to try one out. I've been debating getting a longer cue, but don't need another cue sitting around that I dont like how it plays. Looks like its time to mod my schon. I like that black one.

Snooker cues have the wedge design too, which are usually wrapless and shorter at 56". They are held at the very end.

And these wedge cues are a very nice set.
