Tonight I played a race to 7 (was giving the guy 2 on the wire for a few bucks), and played pretty much perfect pool. It felt amazing. I ran out everytime I was supposed to, only missed one ball, and it was more of a 2 way shot. Infact the only time he got to the table was on my dry breaks (2), and if he made a mistake I ran them out. I won 7-2.

I never felt so good before playing pool. I really didn't take any shot for granted. Made sure I saw the angle while standing up before I got down on the shot. Took my time on every shot no matter how easy it was. Wish I could play at that high of a level all the time. Most racks I have run in a row was 3 in a match but it felt nothing like this because I stayed so consistant throughout the whole match.

Focus is so much in this game. Thought I would share my short lived awesome experience :D.

I thought you were going to say that you slept in your car and ate day old donuts out of the dumpster.

Great going and great shooting! Keep it up!

But, you won't know how it feels to be a pro until you hit the road and try to make a living at it.

When you get that feeling once, it will make you have a craving to feel it again. It will either help you turn the corner,{so to speak} and step up your game on a little regular basis, or frustrate you to death. Chances are, you'll find those set's coming a little easier if you just relax and try to stay focused.

Jason, you would have to come with a line like that, on a dreary Sat. morning. Thanks, I needed a good laugh. Reminded me of spending the weekends in Ft. Wayne around 1985 and going out to the car to eat between set's. In the winter, finding my sandwiches frozen. LOL

It was definitely an amazing feeling. I wanted to play all night lol. Hopefully if I can just continue to keep that kind of focus I can maybe make my game alittle more consistent.
