Thanks for showing off. I'll take the McDermott with the red veneers and ring work.....just drop it off any time.

Thank you, that is my D12. And thank you for being such a gracious forum member. We new guys are a little trepidatious about posting after reading for a while and seeing the caliber of sticks and knowledge that is on this site. You have made me feel welcome on several posts.

You're welcome. And if you are worried about the caliber of your sticks you should know I picked that one exactly because I knew what it was. I am a big fan of the old McDermotts and they are legendary playing cues.

You don't have to have a big stick...you just have to know how to use it.

At least that's what I told myself 28 years ago on prom night. :o

Frank...welcome to AZ! Don't be afraid of whipping your stick out...wait...that didn't sound right...ummmm...let me start over...

Frank...welcome to AZ! Don't be trepidatious about showing your shaft...oh crap, this isn't going well...

Honestly - there are a TON of people on here who show off multi-thousand dollar cues...and yes they're fun to look at (and fun to own too :p )...however, the vast majority of people who come onto AZ don't have those cues...they have cues like you do!

And yes, Doc is an awesome addition to AZ...in fact, he COVETS my $35 Saran Wrap Cue!!! (He's a little jealous that I'm quite possible going to be the winner of the prestigious "Shipping of the Year" award - http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=256180 !)

You don't have to have a big stick...you just have to know how to use it.

Yeah...but what happens when you DON'T have a big stick and you DON'T know how to use it?!?!?! :p

I have 3 cues
Lucasi $250 new
Terry McFadden custom $180 used
Dawgfather break cue $85 new.
Not all of us have high end customs.
I like the Players cue with the red veneers.

Thanks for the replies.
The players is a remarkable cue, I pick it to play with as often as any other. The Cocobolo veneers and butt sleeve are great, The butt sleeve grain is so straight it almost comes across as art deco, if I never buy another Players I will always be glad I bought this one... and no CNC here.

Amazing cue!

This is my other "Points Cue", it is at Shurtz getting a new shaft.

Hey! It's the viking!!!

Very cool cue. I am glad you are getting the shaft made, the cue is well worth it.

Cool vinyl veneers.
