..and I have to say, he had me mind boggled afterward, for those that are considering a lesson
(this only applies to those that do not believe they know everything already!!!) I highly recommend him, he has the patience of Job together with excellent teaching skills ! :) my mechanics were so far off it will take me some while to fully incorporate his lessons but I know after the transition I will be able to rise above the wall I have been hitting! I have been I now realize compensating for my stroke problems and it has limited my progression After our several hours together I hit some 9 ball with one of my teamates and my break went from 0-1 balls in to 2- 3 each break with much more control on the cue and half as much power!!!!! :D !
Scott if you get to read this ..... THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Phil...I really enjoyed working with you too! The afternoon went very quickly! I know you'll do very well with what we worked on, once you've had a chance to practice. It's always a pleasure to come to a nice room like Mr. Cues II, and I've been there every time I've come to Atlanta for the past several years! Richard Sweet really has a great thing going there!

Phil,
Ive been trying to talk you into taking lessons for a long time. Scott was a far better choice than the other instructor you were considering.
Of course, you could have come to Charlotte....;) ;) :D

Do the drills regularly the way Scott showed you, and you will be amazed at what happens to your game!

Good decision!!

Hmmm, very interesting. And idea on how much that costs? When exactly is it? I have a birthday in October...just might have to ask my wife for tuition instead of the usual Blowj....umm, nevermind:D

I wonder if she would give me both

I know what you are feeling as I recently had Randy G show me the truth about my game. I train using his drills every day and then practice to see how I am progressing. I can honestly say that was the best money I ever spent on pool. Best of luck to you Mr. Lucky. Keep training and practicing. All the competition in the world can't replace the value of 15 minutes of perfect practice. Here's to perfect practice.;)

Thanks C

I had been putting off doing this as Steves Post to me suggest! I've been playing for 49 years now and have held my own against most of the players I encounter. I now wish I had done this a few years ago, while in the class it was a struggle for me to do the simplest changes because the poor mechanics are so deeply ingrained! I read a Pool article afterward from BD that was concerning the two types of players MP mechanical players and FP feel players and I fit dead center in the feel category !!!! I in league would play a shot to get out and afterwards my team mates would ask me ..."how I got the ball to do that !" and I really could not tell them I just instinctively knew what to do! :) Now with these new learnings and improved mechanics I hope to take this to a another level ! but it will take awhile to undo the poor habits I have gotten into! :D

Phil...REMEMBER, the most difficult thing to do, is to resist going back to your old comfortable way of setting up and delivering the cue, while you're trying to replace it with a better, more consistent method. It IS hard work, but I know you'll get there!
