Several months ago ran into a friend that has about 70 cues in his collection. To make a long story short, he asked if I would be interested in his old playing cue. I said 'yes', if the price was right. Really worried about the price being right. I know I will need to send it, to the cue makers son, to refinish it for me. Plus the son will verify it is one of his dad's.
Once I get pictures, I will post them, for all of you.
Oh, cue maker's name, 'Gus Szamboti'. Has some dents and scratches, so it will need refinished. Looks like the price will be, in my price range. I have told him he could get twice that amount, if he wanted, but that would be out of my price range. He wants it to go to someone that will play with it, not just put it in a closet.
And oh, yes will I play with it. It will be the every day player. Just hope the refinish does not put it over my budget allowance.
HAPPY DANCE!
