What pin does it take. I have a Predator shaft that Andy made with this ring work . It is a 5/16x14...

My guess would be 3/8 10. I say that because the shaft shown does not show a pilot. Usually 5/16 14 are piloted.
 
I have two spares with this type of billet ring (corian + black phenolic slots) but without the thin silver on each side. If you are interested, PM me and I will give you more details. Both are used shafts, very, very clean....around 12.8-12.9mm
 
Hey cbi1000, haven't seen you around in awhile? How ya been? Have you seen how many times that Josey Bacote Scabdagger has changed hands since you sold it to me? LOL

At OP, check Yally, he has a pred 314-2 with that ringwork (or darn close) for sale still I think. It's a 3/8-10 though and I'm not sure what joint your lookin for.

Yes i know but unfortunatelly the joint diameter is not the same as mine.
 
Well, so far all gilbert's shaft are small in tip diameter. To be more precise, i want a shaft with at least 13mm (13.2mm better) cause i want it for break/jump job. It is my j/b. Mine is 12.62mm and it is good for playing not for breaking/jumping. Cuemakers should see the ringwork and then we will discuss all the details. Thank you. Costas
 
Most of his cues come with 2 shafts,mine did- shafts are 150.00 from Andy himself. You say 13mm+ that means new to me. And do yourself a favor buy 2. Because the next time they'll be 300. Or buy a cue with 2 shafts,and use the other on the break jump. A performance cue maker.mark

That's gotta be the deal of the week. I'm way below market but even I won't touch it for that price. You're a very generous man.
 
Call the number in my signature and set up an order. We talked about it before but I think I dropped the ball.
