I need some advice....

Psychology, but I will probably change that major and minoring in Mathematics and my minor will definately stay; can't live without my fav subject.

By all means, change that major. A BA in psych is worthless. I know - I have one:( ; but psych was popular back when I went to school, so... Anyway, you would really have to follow up with a masters and phd. By then, you'll be too old to play pool. Switch to something business oriented, become a capitalist, emcee a reality tv show. :)

I am having deep considerations about moving to a different area of the
state. I am going to have deep considerations about how I am going to be
able to financially support myself as well as go to college -- which is my
primary priority. But here is where things get quite shaky: while attending my studies, I would really like to attend tournaments from around (or close to) my destination that I will hopefully be in and go pro (or at least semi). I don't want to abandon my studies but as I am gonna have to attend a sport, a job, billiards, and my studies, how can I try to cope with all this? If anybody here has been thru this situation, can yall drop me some advice?

---Thanks

Let's be bold and say you have the talent to eventually be ranked 10th in the US. OK, now go to the AZBilliards top players list and see what number 10 earned in tournaments last year. Subtract out what they got from IPT cause I don't think that is going to make it.

Now go back to school and give it 90 percent of your attention right now. You can play pool later.

Thanks AZers for continuing to post this forum. Don't think I am not reading what yall are posting, because I really am. The average of what you all posted is on just sticking to college. And to acedotcom: yes, I realized that a BA (which I was heading for) for Psych isn't quite what I had in mind... so that's why I am going to change a different major. Keep on posting, I would like to hear from ya!
