I needed a laugh...

The tip makes me remember of one of the bad pool hall in Singapore, that was the tip for all of the house cues. There's only about 2 cue with new tip,and the rest looks exactly like the one u show on that website.

I will rather sell that cue than to use it,dunno who's going to bid on that Mali cue, lol.

Regards...

Reminds me of once in the 70s I was playing in a bar. I had a nice Mc Dermott sneaky with a well groomed tip. I had let it rest next to the wall as I went to get a beer. As I was returning a fellow walked up to select a cue. He picked mine up looked at the tip and before I could say anything he set it back down and picked up a house cue with a tip that was totally flat and had about a 16th inch of cracked mushroom. No accounting for taste I guess.

hey, I heard those pop on tips are really durable. Wonder
how much the guy charged him to put the " new" tip on it?

A guy that I know bought a new cue and wanted it retipped. He asked me what kind of tips that I had that were pretty cheap but still good. I told him that I would put him a medium lepro on for $9. He said that would be fine and he would pick it up in a couple of days. The couple of days went by, he came in to pick it up, and he was totally not happy. I asked him what the problem was, and he said he wanted one of those "good" tips. He showed me the same tip in a magazine that is on that mali. I got him a couple and gave them to him. He slipped one on over the lepro tip and from that day on he has been as happy as he could be.....I never quite got over that.

I had a Mali years back that hit a ton, very solid. Except I did'nt have one of those nice slip on tip/ferrule combos though!:)
