I purchased a bulletproof recoil tip (red medium) tip and...

HAHA! Best comment ever! I'll be 60 in June so barring any bus accidents or lathe mishaps I plan on living long enough to milk every cent I ever paid into Social Security! Actually, I plan on living forever and all I can say is.... so far so good!
I’m 68 so I’m sure it my son can continue playing with it. I’m sorry I missed this thread when it came out, I’d loved to try out the soft. Anyway, I’ve only found your tip on Amazon, is this the best place to buy one or two? Not sure if I want a soft or medium.

I gave my honest reviews of these tips along with several others. I played with soft tips for 40+ years and find myself now playing with the green hard Recoil. I posted some pictures of the soft that I tried first, then with the hard I put on in late September. Updated the thread the other day, now that I've got ~700+ games on it.

He says they have reformulated the blue soft to help eliminate the mushrooming so I just placed another order and will give it another chance. But to be completely honest I believe I'm shooting better with the hard. I keep telling myself I'm going to put on a medium to give it a try but haven't been able to make myself swap it out. ;)

I'm in the same boat. Put the greens on both my daily shafts and want to try the medium, but the hards are playing great, so...

Is there any difference between the blue and green, or is it just to match colors in your cue?

I tend to go with harder tips but I know Revo’s come with soft but, I hated the pos Victory tip. I’m currently trying the Taom pro soft, it doesn’t seem any different than the medium Precision tip I’ve been using.

Just my 2 cents, but I've been using the soft and to me it's not a soft playing tip at all. Plays more like a medium to me, and I haven't experienced any mushrooming with mine.

I just ordered one to try it, used the free soft tip code from their post, which worked. I have enough shafts to play around with this thing on one.

I would suggest that they used some less garish colors, I am not sure I want a bright green or red tip catching my eye during the shot.

pool players tend to die young. if you dont smoke, drink, do drugs, eat fast food, or mess with other's wives then your warranty has merit.
I only play a little one-pocket at my shop, don't drink, smoke, do drugs and try to eat as little fast food as possible. The only wife I mess with is mine! HAHA. I always look for buses both ways when crossing the street! ;)

If you go out there and look there are tons of reviews on these tips on our InstaGram, Facebook, Amazon etc

Here is a post from the other thread I thought I would share

Green is the hard playing tip. Blue is the soft.
Try a green bulletproof. You'll be glad you did.

Apologies. I should have read thru the comments B4 posting. A much better explanation is the very next comment.

I've found that once I chalk up, I don't even notice the color anymore. It just fades like everything else as I make the shot. I think you'll find this to be the same w everyone who plays in a certain level.
It could be hazmat orange and I wouldn't notice it. You should be able to tune all that stuff out when playing.

I’ve been playing with a medium for four months. I love it, I found that a periodic light scuffing with 80 grit sand paper provides the best grip on the chalk and best CB action.

This tip does wear down. But it is a slow wear and it plays very consistently.

Prolly the only way to bring us this amazing price!

more false advertising. now we have proof. i didnt shoot it with my 44 magnum as that would have been an unfair test. and i am internationally famous for being fair. so i just used a 9mm with a target load.

well it completely demolished the tip with little to be found. so that proves it is not bullet proof.

i know he will now say he will send me one for free. thanks for nothing as it also shattered my shaft and split the butt of the cue.
