Well, I went to Vegas the other day to watch the 8-Ball portion of the TAR match between Dennis Orcullo and Darren Appleton.

Lee Brett is also in Vegas and texted me to come to Pool Sharks afterwards: Hmmmmmm - A possible pre-challenge, challenge, maybe? I'm always down for a little "pre-challenge", challenge action!

Well, I get down there a little late, and Lee's still there... and, not one WOOF! Didn't even ask me who I was here to play. I even said, 'So, where's the ACTION?'

NOTHING!

To be honest, Lee - If I could raise the bet, I would. I think you're in a spot of trouble mate!

honestly i like your side of it against lee,ive met the guy n seen him play and played him,apply the pressure n he folds up is my prediction.also, if you ever make it back to the great NW u got action,if we cross paths anywhere else U GOT ACTION! good luck BUSCHWACKA!
 
Just to clarify here, I have no animosity towards Lee Brett even though I'm pretty sure that you were not directing that comment towards me. If I didn't like Lee Brett, I wouldn't have him on my show.

Lee, I'm pretty sure that we can raise the bet, but it we will have to address that over the weekend before the show.

For now, let's just make sure that the February 1st deadline to post the initial $1,000 is met. Please make sure that this happens on time so that I don't have to book Sal Butera as your replacement.

As much as I would love to play Sal, I think that viewers would really love to see you and I get scrappy!

Race to 30 really??? I hope you guys are playing on a bb then... Regulation tables of this caliber of play would set the over/under on a 6 hour set.... A race to 15 would've been fine for you two for a long set...


Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings... Its just hard to hold even the a true sweater's attention for this long. I have trouble watching two world champions play a set of this length. How could I possibly sit down and watch you two???

The most recent TAR match with DAZ vs Dennis were 8 Ball race to 30 and 10 Ball Race to 30....Maybe start watching 2 hours after it starts if you are short winded...
 
no animosity towards lightning lee honestly,just in my experience he should act a lil more professional towards people,after all anyone could be a perspective student which should mean something to a instructor.I just mite shoot daniel a couple hundo to throw into action,if it gets doubled i would gladly put it into action whenever our paths cross mr.brett
 
What I'm referring to is why the hell theres this huge opinion on AZB of how Lee "can't play".

I would give so much to be able to play at his level. Sure, I'd pack up and move tomorrow to dedicate my life to play BETTER than him but damn, are you guys trolling or??

I'd love to see every AZ member who says he can't play for shit match up against him. Seriously...
 
I'm certainly not saying the he can't play.

I read his book and loved it! But the fact of the matter is, Lee and I played for 4 hours last year in Mountain View, CA and broke even!

This is merely a chance for he and I to bring our best game/s. I'm sure that he's putting in the work right now as I am too.

I know you aren't, but just browse some of the topics about him or his lessons. Lots of people here act like he's some APA 5 or something.

I don't get it. I'm looking forward to your match. I may even spring for the Kamui chalk just to try a piece. I know I'll never be a regular user at that price but just once maybe.
