I saw a video of Mosconi and Fats playing 7 ball... from the early 90's.. there was a black 7 ball as the game ball..

who has one?

and how much do you want for it?
 
I think you are talking about the Legends tournaments that featured Pucket, Mosconi, Fats, Lassiter, etc from the 80's. They played 7-ball and Lassiter had the better of it.
 
I thought I heard at the time the Legends of Pocket Billiards tournament was first run on ESPN that the 7-ball used was a special design and was "copyrighted" by Charlie Ursetti who was the promoter/referee of the event...

The Aramith ball posted by EDRJR is the same thing only not maroon and black...

I've never seen another, and it's not for sale, but I think this is what your looking for..The ball is actually black, and orange/pink..

I have some, still in the box with a 7-ball rack I think. Will have to dig through the mountain of pool crap to make sure. I bought out a billiard supply ages ago. Might take a day or two. If I find them, I will check this thread and and get back to you.

If you happen to find them, I'd be interested in purchasing one along with the 7 ball rack if they come together. Have never seen one like this before and it might be a nice addition to my pool room.
