What you want is a tuxedo cue. Google it and you will may run into someone selling something you want.
Most of these cues are ebony/ivory. You will find the imitation stuff that is readily available
Tuxedo cues are rare now since the ivory ban and what I'm hearing an ebony ban too. Does anyone know if an ebony ban is in effect? I've only heard of it.
Most of the very dark woods are on the endangered species list or threatened.
Even Wenge(Ebony substitute) is getting close. I think twice before using it, and yes I bought Ebony in the 80's. I bought it because I knew it would be unattainable soon.
So, yes I was part of the problem.
All of the Ebony I own would fit into a five gallon bucket. I only use it on my miniature pool cues.
Can you make one that does not miss?

Again, these tuxedos cues must have these materials. Anything else is knockoff chinese crap.
Remember that anyone living in a state that does not have any ivory restrictions enacted is free to order or buy
from any cue maker residing in the same state, or any other states that doesn’t have any ivory restrictions. There’s
a lot of confusion and misunderstanding about ivory sales and pool cues. I happen to live in a state that bans ivory.
I do not purport to be an expert on ivory and TSA can always give you a hard time traveling with a pool cue. But the
regulation is very straightforward in its application. Some cue makers just decided to stop using ivory for their own
reasons. I happen to think legal ivory in the USA should be used & heavily taxed with the proceeds used to protect
endangered species. There is more legally imported ivory in the USA than most people understand or even imagine.
If anyone has a contrary understanding of the ivory limitations I’ve tried explaining, I’d certainly appreciate learning
what that might be and seeing any evidentiary proof that might contradict my understanding of ivory restrictions.

Do you have any makers you like? Any objections to working with a cuemaker to have one made how you want it as opposed to buying one already done? I know it can be a lengthy process some times, but there are a lot of good cuemakers out there with not too long of a wait.
Having a cue built the way you want it to look and play is just a E-Ticket ride that every player deserves to experience.
Buying what was already built means you had no say in how the cue turned out. It only saves you time getting the cue.
Patience is required to have a custom cue made for you but having done this a few times, it’s literally exhilarating when
you start seeing progress photos of your cue coming to life. After it finally arrives, you’ll play better than you ever have.
However, if you can find a cue built by a cue maker that has all you want in a pool cue, well, some cue makers have a
wait of a decade or longer, in those instances, my inclination is to buy it now but still order that custom to get made.
I searched for years trying to find a Hercek cue and even offered referral fees if anyone could steer me to a likely cue
seller. Alas, I never located any candidate cues. Joel actually told me he’s made very few cues using the specs I want.

You clearly stated you don’t want one anyone has ever played with, so you’re in the market for a new cue only. Pick a cue maker and have him make you one how you want with the materials you want.
