I Want To Buy Something

For no good reason, spend $50 on Paladin Precision cue tip with a bottom that needs no prep prior to installing (looks no different except being black than the hard plastic in Kamui Clear and Rhino's Time Crystal). Arrives in a metal case with foam to protect tip.

Can't go wrong with a new cue. New cues are always nice!!

But the best advice is what maha said.... instructions from a qualified instructor. I have met with Bob Jewett a few times, have always learned something more valuable than any tool/gizmo. In this game, much like life, knowledge is power

Go old school and get a DeltaElite rack. Pool balls were meant to be cracked instead of being placed in a pattern on a thin sheet of plastic. There is no better rack out there and personally, I enjoy mine without inserts more than others with inserts I gifted to friends. Get aJoe Porper Talc Dispenser just in case you ever need it. Get a Kamui VUE Clear Plastic Bridge Head you can slip on a house cue. How about getting some Pagulayan chalk so you don’t have to chase it if you should drop it? Darn if TAOM doesn’t roll into the darkest locations sometimes. If you can’t find it, it probably is hiding with that missing sock you can’t find to complete a pair. Whatever you do, just don’t buy another pool cue.
