IBSF WC in Egypt cancelled

A message from the Egyptian federation about the IBSF Championships which were scheduled to be held there later this year:

Dear friends,
The board of the Egyptian Federation of Billiards Sports decided in its meeting yesterday to
apologize for not being able to host the 2012 World Snooker Championship due to the current
security issues, paralleled with a new Minister and regime, and a critical economic situation.[...]

It is hoped that some other federation will step up and host the event.

The Arab Spring is even worse..that moisture in the air may be blood.
