Just got home from the ICCS show in KC, and WOW did I see some amazing stuff. Met a lot of great cuemakers, too. Had a talk with the young guy that makes Aurther Queue's. He's doing some over the top work. Had a cue on display that he priced at $165k.
Incredible. Had 4 rings in it that he said it took him 4 months just to glue the inlays into.
 
I didn't take a camera, but this cue was so intricate you'd have had to have a super camera & know how to use it to really capture it. Aurther Queue was featured in their program this year, so I hope there'll be some good pic's in the mag's.
 
The show was amazing.

I did not take a camera either; however, there were a ton of pictures being taken, so I'm sure someone will post them soon.


Sometimes, you don't really notice a cuemakers work until you meet him in person. Meeting Paul Drexler was the highlight of the show for me. It was very interesting hearing some of the processes he uses to build his masterpieces.

Tikkler, do you have any PFD's you can show us?

Here's one of the Aurther cues I got pics of. I believe he said this is sea snake wrap (even on the joint protector)

The wrap almost looks like stingray but in any case the cue is friggin beautiful...............
 
yeah, Markus is an incredible cuemaker, i would say one of the best in the world ! and the best thing is his shop is only 20 minutes away ! :D

Stingray rings a bell now that you say that, I don't remember for sure. That may be right.
 
Yeah, it's stingray. It felt amazing. He put finsh over the inlays in the wrap, but the stingray skin was just buffed.
 
Yeah ,stingray feels incredible ive had a few watch straps made for my Paneria.................

I picked up a cue for a friend there about 2 years ago, I spoke to them on the phone a few times, great people. I wanted to go see them but I was too sick from my operation to go see them, nest time I go to Muchen I'm gonna go visit them-great stuff for sure.
