Well, I can't seem to get any response from anyone in "The Action Room" so I figure I will post up on the main forum. If anyone wants to battle for the Idaho KING status, pm me and we can work something out!!

I used to live in Idaho Falls...BRIEEEEFLY. There's like no pool anywhere. There's one pool hall there called corner pocket where the owner played well. Lots of bar pool, if i recall. Based on the confidence of your post, you probably ARE the ID king.

Yes, the owner "played" really well.. and I imagine that if he played or cared about the players anymore, then Idaho Falls might still be on the map. But he has gotten a little older and is golfing now, and doesnt care.... the last time I saw him i played him a little.. told him the table has a little bit of a roll.. his response was" Nooone around here plays well enough to tell anyway..." so i proceeded to beat him till he quit... but yeah.. there are a few players here... How long ago was it that you lived here?

Ok ok ok

bump

I will throw in a sack of potato's to the challenger for consolation, and a free spud for every spek tater.... WOCKA WOCKA

1998 I think. I honestly wasn't much of a player then--- still very green. I had action with a group of mexicans there who were my speed so I was entertained for a while. I don't recall anything but 7' tables in Pocatello. I was so bored there, I left after 3 months living there.

there are a few decent players around, but Pockets Inc. is MY stompin grounds.. now they have 4 9 ft olhausen and 4 8ft olhausen and 6 8 foot boxes... with championship and simonis cloth , chill pool hall atmosphere. I'll bang em with anyone that comes in.

should try backstreet billiards, outside of Boise. Last time I visited, there was plenty of action. Golf and snooker action as well.

yeah , I know of a few ppl who play in Boise, I could always get friendly action with Josh "Smitty"? Smith... he plays lights out. thats about 4 hour drive for me .... so I don't make the trip alot. But not too much action in Idaho Falls like there.

Dave...You didn't look very hard. The Corner Pocket in Pocatello has six 9' tables (and about eight 8' tables), and the university gameroom has another nine 9' tables. Both have been there FOREVER. :D

And Scott...the pocket in pocatello still probably has the same cloth they had 15 years ago ;) but I haven't been to the pocket in pocatello for a while, the university has some nice ? gold crowns? . Club 91 used to be a hot spot, Tim Josephs place, there are probably a few on here who know who he is.
