Idea for a book.

Just ordered Jay's book, and I was thinking, ya know-not all the big names are going to write books, but think of the mountains of great stories just waiting to be told. The old guys aren't going to be around forever, so if someone could put together as much pool color as possible from as many sources as possible, put it in a book, I'd damn well buy it. Something like those great books 'Shots, moves and strategies', and 'Winning one pocket'(I think), not neccesarily with instruction included.

Thanks for liking my stories. However, re books of short stories on pool, you are either far too trusting or wear rose-colored glasses. Despite all I've done to prevent such a thing from happening, I've already discovered two of the stories in my books are almost certainly created by the authors, whereas a third simply has one incorrect statement. They will almost certainly be removed upon my ever getting to reprint them.

You would probably of loved it if I'd have published the best stories i'd gathered from around the billiard world over the years, however, the vast majority ranged from exaggerations to creative imaginations and out-and-out lies. Not easy to find a decent billiard story I can believe anymore.

I normally do sufficient research in attempts to avoid providing my readers with fiction but these two stories got by me partially because of how i'd trusted a wrong "witness' as well as the authors and they arrived just previous to sending printer my camera-ready work.

Now don't anyone start asking me which two stories. I'll handle them one way or another if and when i ever get back into publishing my various books but that must be postponed for now. The authors know who they are and so you now have clues by seeing who would want you to think less, mistrust, and/or disbelieve whatever I might say, do, or write.
