Can anyone identify this Schon I have.....model # and maybe what it's worth. It is one of the nicest Schon's I have ever seen. I've never seen a Schon with this much Ivory. The guy I got this cue from says he had Schon(Evan) refinish it and when it was refinished they added the LTD to the butt. He claims it is one of a kind but Evan wouldn't mark it as one of a kind because he wanted to reserve the right to make another. I don't know what to think, the cue is beautiful, recently refinished and I still need a better camera.

Ask Evan, he will tell you the model #. I'm not positive, but I think his ltd cues are 12 for each model.

That's a fantastic looking Schon, one of the best I've seen. If it hits like my Schon it should be a dream cue. Congrats.

Schon will often produce a LTD cue in lots of 12. Then make a subtle change in wood, color, or whatever. Then produce 12 more. I've seen this cue on ebay before in a different wood. My opinion on the value is 1,300 to 1,500.

Well, I give up. I can't find a picture of it. I've seen the same cue twice on ebay. It had a light brown or tulipwood butt. It was a very nice cue.

actually when schon makes the ltd's and elites...

evan once told me.. that when they make the ltd's.. they at most make 12.. sometimes less.. sometimes as few as 2 or 3... but never more then 12..
same with the elites.. never more then 6.. sometimes 5 sometimes 3..

also.. he said that especially in the elites you will see each cue in the 6 with different wood.. they are the same cue.. just diffent woods, so essentially they are really one of a kinds.. but similiar to each other..

he never once made a group of ltd's and then changed materials and made another group of ltds.. he said once he uses a design and designates it whatever model, he never uses it again..

but who is to tell for sure unless you see something really simiar..

it is a very popular model.. and i always see them for sale on ebay..

wonder how many erik did sale.. cause you know alot of other dealers had/sold them too.. there is only supposed to be 12..

you think they messed up there and made more then they were supposed to just to sell them... and everyone i ever seen was always the same.. not one single minute difference...

good call Hall...

This is my LTD 235 shown with a black butt and different color ring work. I'd call that a suptle change. It's called a SH206.

Hey Erik Lee, how many LTD 235 cues have you sold?

Hey Hal...
I think Ive sold about 10 of those LTD235s.... Well heres the scoop on the LTDs.. Not all of them are made in runs of 12. Schon makes some LTDs exclusively for certain distributors and only dealers of that distributor have access to them. Much like the CX series Schons are made for CueStix Intl and only dealers of them can get that line of cues.

The LTD235 is made for J&J and J&J calls it the SH206. Schon will make these cues in limited quantites but greater than 12 for sure and they will only make them from time to time. There would be a period of 8-9 months without a single LTD235 being made.

Hope that makes sense...
