he played an SVB who was playing at a high gear in a race to 100?
Earl wins about 100-85 or 90 if he is playing like he did in the Hong Kong Challenge. Keep in mind when Earl was shooting at the hgihest gear he hit in that match even Efren could not keep up. It took a classic Earl flake-out for him to lose that match, and he delivered it like only he can.
Earl was playing shots the top pros today don't even attempt, and he made pretty much every single tough shot he attempted in the first two days of the match including long banks, crazy carom shots, a friggin jump/bank shot to open up a package, ect... (he blew 2 or 3 easy ones though). Earl was stringing racks like crazy and just when it looked like he was going to run away with the match Efren would come up with packages to keep in striking range, but it was clear Efren was the one chasing and fighting to keep from getting blown out of the water.
In the first day and most of the second day the scariest thing is that Efren was getting most of the rolls, and losing with them still. Efren lucked a 7-ball he totally missed, he had the 9-ball breaks, he was a little more fortunate on unintentional leaves. There were alot of rolls that went Efren's way and they were not returned in the match, those rolls were worth about 3 games each given how Earl was shooting at that time.
SVB would play because he has the heart of a lion, he would play well and make a good showing, and IMO he would lose if Earl does not do the late stage blow-up show he is known for.
