Who would folks suggest?

4 points, veneers, a few old school inlays, but it all has to work with the quilted maple (or I suppose another quilted cut of wood).

I love the look of quilted maple, but I don't want a frankencue where it just looks like a fee pieces of wood were put together without any thought.

Thanks.

I googled quilted maple.....it's beautiful.
I see four points with blue and green inlays and a Hoppe but cap.

Quilted maple, at least the best figured stuff, is usually Big Leaf Maple which one of the soft maple species. Soft maple isn't usually the best choice for a cue, but with proper coring it can make a fine cue. Just make sure it's cored with a good structural cue wood and you should be fine.

Given the circumstances, I would look for a cuemaker who has experience in working with quilted soft maple. It will cut different, finish different, and inlay different as well.
