Sandbagging in Mosconi Cup, I'm kind of missing your point. He missed, that's not sandbagging, he's now trying to lower his handicap or induce Team Euro to wager.

He just flat out missed it. Just a shame the Euro's rarely do that.

Really it was just a rhetorical question. I obviously have missed much easier shots. It was just surprise and frustration in the fact that one of the best five players in the country missed that shot. Sorry if I communicated my feelings poorly.

He missed it by quite a fair bit actually. He could have chosen a simpler way to shoot the 8 though if he was really feeling the pressure. It’s not the hardest shot in the world but it’s not one you’ll enjoy having to make under these circumstances. Very unforgiving angle if u choke. And especially when you’re essentially doing a snap shot. Brings to bear what some posters have been going on about: fundamentals. But he’s a scrapper and he’ll get over it
