Tell us why U like this craftsman, we will be able to figure out who it is, I hope. One master at a time per message please. (<:

Let's see and hear where this one goes...

One of the best that I have worked with can build a cue with nothing but a utility blade and a spinner.

Jim.

My favorite has done such great work with Cocobola he used to have a dog named Coco. He has a pretty dark heart though.

Best Mentor

Sorry I posted too soon and did not read the title completely.

If I was goig to pick someone to mentor with it would be someone that does a lot of inlay work/ and or butterfly points.

My mentor is the best. Makes beautiful cues with a European taper. Is very gererous, with his knowledge and his money. Taught me and put me up for a week and then gave me the cue that we worked on. Since is still giving information and wisdom. Likes Cocobolo and Tulip wood.
Does he like cats also?

I would like to work with that guy out west that makes them great hitting cues, you know the guy that knows so much about wood.--Leonard

The one I'd pick would not have a computer, Or a cell phone!! I actually know one but I will not say who!!!
