Like the title said... if you have 400$ to spent for a break cue..

what break cue you interest to buy...a gilbert...a varney, BHQ or maybe Mezz or predator..Please give me some good advice...

I already have a steve lomax jump cue.. so this break cue only for a break.

I also already got a mezz PBII. but i notice it's very hard for me to break with phenolic tip, is there a chance to change the phenolic tip for a samsara or white diamond tip.

thanks

I'd change to a Samsara JB tip on your Mezz first & see if you like it better. Should be able to have the tip installed right on the phenolic ferrule. If it's a one piece tip/ferrule, your cue tech can likely turn the thing down flat for install.

i would also agrre with the above statement,
I myself have a diviney jump brake with a phenolic ferrule that i had a samsara jump break tip put on. I have used it for 1.5 years now and no problems and i love it

I do like the diviney juump break cues, or just the break cues.

Changing the tip should be no problem. You might want to go with a leather tip for more control on the break. If that does not give you want you want then many cuemakers offer break cues for your price range. Since you have a Lomax jump cue you might want a Lomax break cue also. If you want another brand maybe try one of mine.

Get one from eicustomcues . Solid custom J/B cue ... With phenolic ferrule and a White diamond tip , or Samsara ...:wink::rolleyes:

I was recently looking to invest in a quality break cue and I started to ask around. I asked a CM that I respect and he suggested I check out Steve Lomax. After talking with Steve I decided to give my business to him. He seems like a great guy to work with and I can't wait to see how my cue performs when it is completed.

Search for his stuff here on AZ...I think you should add him to the list of people to consider. Good luck in your search.

you cant go wrong with a cannon break or jump break. iv seen shannon murphy rape the table with them manny times.

Break Cue

Best Break cue I have ever owned is a DENALI Custom Break Cue and I have owned about 10 of them.

Call or Email Bob Flynn at Denali Cues. He is also on Az as QMAKER and you could sent him a Pm as well. Great cue maker and Great Customer service. Do yourself a favor and talk to Bob before you make your final decision.
Great Cues in your price range and he also makes just Break cues without a jump joint.

Hope this helps

I would buy a Mezz PB Pro. But you might need to add a few more bucks. I also love the way the new Tiger Impack break works. I absolutelly love it.
Soon, my break cue will be the best, I hope ;)

Why not find a cue in your local pool hall that breaks well and convert it to a sneaky pete. Cost you alot less than having a production "break Cue".Mitch

Ready to ship ,Varney with extended jump handle

I have a like new Varney j/b for sale,,,,that breaks and jumps great. And it is ready to ship. $375 Plus whatever the shipping would be to you and its yours. This is the best j/b Varney makes with best of everything,,Extended jump handle ,ringwork unbreakable ferrule and resin tip threaded into the ferrule for a solid hit. Not a plain jane...<<ED
