Personally I have a couple of Cues all with Two Shafts, and Try and remember to Rotate Em Weekly in my Case so they all get played with.

I also Rotate my Shaft, Each time I play, as that way everything gets used.

The only Cues I own are Playing Cues, as I do not have any Collectables, or high Dollar Safe Queens.

Anyone else do this Rotation thing?

No. I try to play with just one of them. I have 3 playing cues and a break/jump cue. I keep the other cues for back up but almost never use them.

Let me rephrase for you. Personally, once I find something I like, I stick with it. If I play good with a particular cue, then I find no need to change. But then again, Im not a cue freak like many players I know

I understand and agree. ;)

I own 15 cues, all high end very expensive works of art. I play with them all and rotate the shafts also. I find it does not take long to make the adjustment. After an hour of playing it is though its been my cue for life.
Not to mention it is very exciting an fun to play with a new cue all the time. I play with each one for about a month so it takes a year to make the rotation. I play 20 or more hours a week.
My collection: DZ,Nitti,Bushka,Mottey,Coker,Franklin Southwest,Dishaw,Scruggs,Gina,Tad,Josswest,James White.

It completely shattered. It was a Predator shaft that looked like a banana peel afterward. Predator was great about it though. I called. They said that's NEVER supposed to happen and they replaced it immediately. Literally, I ordered a new one and sent back my shattered one at the same time. I got two shafts in the mail.

This sounds like a good news/bad news story.

The good news was that the Predator either imploded, exploded or a combination of both. The bad news is they replaced it immediately with two Predators. The least they could have done was send one Meucci Red Dot or Black dot and a McDermott I.C.E. or some othr combinations. :p :D

i have 9 cues,,,they're all collector cues, and i rotate them all. wreaks havoc on my game, but i don't play enough that it make s a diff anymore.

I have a number of nice cues but I only play with my Tad. I used to also play with a Castle on a snooker table because I had Ernie make me 2 snooker shafts for it (much thinner shafts) but they got rid of the snooker tables so it is gathering dust. The thinner shaft does make it a lot easier to play snooker so that is a logical reason for switching cues.

I break with a break cue and shoot only with my main shooting cue. On the rare occasion I jump a ball I have a break/jump I use (not my normal break cue) but I cannot wait until they outlaw the jump cue all together and then I will shoot every single shot but the break with my normal shooting cue, as I feel it should be. We dont need a ton of gimick cues for this game, jump cues included. The purity of the game and the ability of making so many different types of shots all with the usual normal playing cue I believe is part of the great image of this game. The day pool requires a golf bag sized case to carry all your gimmick cues that allow you to make different shots with greater ease this game looses my interest completely
