...but if it does, NO ONE should sleep on Chavez. You're right Wendy. According to some, Chavez has one of the best safety games out there. And from what I've seen of his game, he is hard as HELL to safe!
My money would be on him if I thought this game might actually happen.

I heard late last night that the Chavez/Sambajon match is not going to happen because someone's backers can't come up with the money.
I also hurd that chavez is trying to play park .
2 of the best players in NYC Area currently. I will try to get a front row seat for that one. the one time i did see them play was in the wed tournament. race to 5 and 7. and chavez took both. 5-2 and 7-4 I think. but man it was world class pool from both. i like chavez's cue ball better.. but park dont miss neither way.

i would have a hard time betting on much of anybody against Chavez, he came through central Fl a few months ago, and the just looked like robot! but then again at that speed they all play that way!

Santos refused to pony up. Their match consisted of the Wed night tournament at Masters. The tournament manager allowed them to play to 9 instead of 5 (or 4). So bets were made on the rail. Pedro was down 5-4but won 9-5. Apart from last Wed night, it looks like this match-up will never happen.
It's interesting that elsewhere it says Gandy Valle was willing to give Stevie Moore the 8 and 9 in Louisville, I think even with the 9, it would be a good match with Chavez.
