I use hightowers cue coat, [ 20 min 2 part epoxy ] for a finish on a lot of my cues, most of the time 24 to 36 hrs and its good to go, lately here in Missouri the drying time is about 10 times as long.

I remember as a child in east texas my mother had a saying, " its so humid, you can swat the water out of the air with a board "

that's about right here lately in mid Missouri.

that's about right here lately in mid Missouri.

That's one of the main reasons I have switched to UV cured finish....humidity and such no longer plays into the timeframe. There's no mixing so there isn't an issue with a batch not hardening properly, no scale needed, etc.
Up here in Ma. humidity goes from 25-35% in winter up to 80-85% in the summer.
