Good luck man!! Hope that you do well!! To remain calm, always watch the table, watch for every move your opponent should be looking for as well as your own. Try not to talk to anyone during your match, and try to sit far away from other people while you are not at the table. Any conversation you enter know matter how small can affect your consentration. Try to politely tell your parents that you would 100% privacy during your match, that includes cheering. The reason you wanna be far away from other people is because you are fairly young, and lots of people will try to offer advice and encourage you. Your best bet is to zone into the table and don't worry about any outside interference. Don't trouble yourself with what other people are thinking about you. Since you are 13 most people will be impressed if you pocket a few balls, let alone play really well!

GOOD LUCK MAN!!

Thanks a lot you guys! I did not know people cared so much, lol. And yes this is my first tourney. And thanks for all the advice. I just practiced 6 straights hours so its time to rest my arms :), cya guys later. Ill update you guys,
Stephen

Hey Stephen...have fun! Accept this for what it is...an adventure and educational opportunity. Give it your best shot, accept whatever the outcome is as a gift of knowledge and growth. This will be a great experience for you. As said above, stay focused on the table, be fundamentally sound and give it your best shot. Feel good about having the adventure and opportunity. Best of luck and hope all the rolls go your way!

I forgot one other thing, someone on here said it the other day but i cant remember who. Concentrate and try your hardest on every shot. If you come across a difficult shot, concentrate on making it. Don't miss because you didnt give it a chance, miss because you gave it your best and cut it wrong.
