I will be attending the Archer/Strckland pool school next week at Kolby's in Tempe Az next Tuesday at about 1pm or when we all get there ;) . I believe this is gonna be great fun and a educational event. These kinda things dont happen often so i'm gonna make the effort to go there, even thought i'm 100% out of stroke and cant play much I still think its worth the trip, and if Johnny and Earl forget how to play Ill take over ;) just kidding. But I will talk a bit of shit no matter what, awalys with respect.

Also bfdlad says he wants to flip for something lets hope he has more balls than Tooth.

You Lucky Dog You:d :d
I hope he is not lucky, 50/50 on a coin needs luck and some bollocks as they say where I come from. I ain't worried. Actually I think that Fatboy has A LOT of experience in different areas and I will pick his mind a bit while he is there. He ain't a bad player either, not up to my standards of course but not too shabby. Either way we will have fun, I wondr if we can get someonethere to tape some of the players getting their instruction and then me and Fatboy flipping for a grand. I ain't in the same league so a grand it all I can lose. :) we will all have a blast.

His watch costs more that your car Rick and mine put together and I drive a Jag. I am sure he will be pimped out especially since I am going to take him down at the coin toss. :)

I met Eric at the Mosconi Cup..and then later on at the Derby.

It might cost more than our cars....but not his cars. Why did you think they call him FATboy......

i'm gonna bring my body guard, with my back problems I gotta have someone carry my bankroll.:D ;) and yes he is armed.

bfdlad is shooting the match stick at the lumber yard, but I respect his heart. tails......LOL

seriously I'm actually gonna ask Earl and Johnny about one shot that has troubled me for years, I like Earl and have a ton of respect for him, he is awesome. Same goes for Archer. These 2 guys are among the best ever 9ballers perhaps better than Efren over all I like Efren. They both have had long successful careers-not one hit wonders and to me that is big, it really shows what they are made of. Man I cant wait, I might drive down from Vegas it depends on how my back feels. When was the last time something like this popped up??? Some schools with pros cost $1500 for 3 days-I think Jeanette charges that with the hotel included, I'm not knocking her school at all, she is awesome I'm just putting it into perspective how great this oppertunity is and how good the value is. It will probably run longer if the pro's are having fun. They live for this kinda thing, wouldnt you if you played like they do? thats my opinion anyways.

I encourage everyone to go to this school, it is a rare occasion and it dosent get any better. It will be more than worth the $$$, nobody here is getting rich off it-including the champions, its a labor of love and giving back to up and comming players, Anyone who comes to it will walk away ahead with more knowlege and good memories.

If you wanted to fly Archer out for a day of 1 on 1 instruction there is no telling what it would cost, the airplane ticket would be $600 add Earl in there your up to $1200 before they hit a ball. Also being there with others questions you might not think of will pop up so its better than 1 on 1 because the chemistry of all of us will be synergistic, it will feed on itself. Cease the chance.

WOW Fatboy, that was very well said. I'm impressd you see when you try you can string a few words together :) I just want to make sure are you calling tails right now before we get there???? If so I like it it's like playing poker and not looking at your cards ya know and just betting. Just confirm that you want tails ok. I will take head... Oh I mean heads. I think we will all have fun. We have spots left and hopefully Fatboy will give us some of his knowlege while we are there. Not pool maybe you would share a story or two or even give me a few lessons in how to not lose money to people like you. I feel good about the coin though.

Out of curiosity, what kind of watch is it? JLC, Vacheron, Patek, Constantin, Blanc? I don't think someone with Fatboy $ would wear a Rolex..

I got a Rolex President and that's considered nouveau riche. It's those unassuming, leather/alligator strapped handmade badboys that go for 6 figures and up.

i have them all, i do the watch biz on the side. Not much this past year though. I have had Patek Tourbillons down to Stainless Rolex, I love them all, i havent been wearing a watch much the past year either, i'm stuck in bed most of the time.

Let us know how it went! I would love to go to one of the schools by the pros. Not sure which one is worth it. Has anyone here gone to the Allison Fisher school?
