I cut hard foam pieces to put in the bottom so it's custom fitted to my shafts.zeeder said:The case looks great. Is the color Black Cherry? I have a plain jane vintage case in Black Cherry...lol. The engraving looks awesome on yours though! I need to find something to make the shafts stick up a bit so I can easily take them out without having to turn the case over. The jps on my weston are long enough but my Gilbert jps aren't as long.
It is the GL2103. It's dark brown with dark brown and almost black carvings. I have a joint protector somewhere. I never used it with my Porper or Instroke.Snapshot9 said:What model of Vintage case is it? I noticed some differences
from standard models. Like all the extra tooling you had done.
Also the 1 diagonal zipper instead of 2 on the front long pocket.
And what color is it? It is difficult to tell from your pictures.
Can you please weigh it, empty and loaded, and post the weights.
(Pool rooms with a 'store' usually have a scale)
Looks mighty pretty though ...
A word of caution... I would put the butt in with bumper up, you
don't want to eventually punch a hole into the lid pad with your
joint screw ...

I could never part with it! Take a look at his site, though... www.jimmurnakcuecases.com ... very affordable and worth every penny.
Very nice... I like the color. Would like to see it up close, I am sure the pics don't do it justice...Sweet Marissa said:I have a few photos here.
I've gotten wonderful compliments on it here in Columbus and will have it at the Southern Classic Open this weekend.

very nice case marissa. I hope to order one soon myself.Sweet Marissa said:I just got my Jim Murnak case and the first thing I noticed was how LIGHT it is! The case is a 2x4 from the vintage line. The leather is beautiful and rich, and the intricacy of the carvings is amazing! The pockets are convenient, spacious, and easy to get into. Opens with ease and closes securely. I'll be taking photos tonight to post on AZ with a full review tomorrow!
I'm absolutely in love!
