hi pool champs, where do i go to play? who ever lives here respond. drivemaker?
will be here till sunday. ive been to hotshots , golden cue :( theres got to be a better place . waiting for replies :)

That ain't me...I live a couple thousand miles away. Get in touch with Richard Cranium or Jimmy M. PM them.
 
Alexanders has an open 9 ball tourny on Saturday night. Starts around 7 - 7:30. If you get in all the side pots it should pay between $200 and $300. Otherwise you can look for action up there, but your'e going to have to give up some weight!!!

well i dont gamble pool, but would like to play some good players or fairly good players. where is this alexanders?

stop into sixshooters (35th ave.& peoria)around 1pm friday..table 15..you can get played..

Kolby's in Tempe (the Mesa Rack and Cue guys are playing there now) and Sixshooters will have games for you.\

Alexanders (bar tables) will definitely have something that will interest you.

What brings you to Phoenix... I heard that Mr. Lindford and Damian P. were moving down here. Any truth to that?

mike l. is here and is a manager at honda on camelback. im staying with him now till sunday .how do you know him? well headed to sixshootes now.;)
 
Being an old Salt Lake guy - how can you NOT know Lindford !!

Sixshooters at night is probably not going to be a lot of fun. The Golden Cue has San Jose Dick as a regular. He still likes to play one pocket - a lot. There might actually be more wagering going on at the Golden Cue than at Sixshooters this time of night.

I thought Dick quit playing. I know he is retired now. Pappys might have a little action ( on 19 ave) bar tables. Six shooters in the daytime.
 
How about Metro Sports Bar ? They remodeled and put a bunch of tables in recently, did it ever take off pool wise?

Well Mark, you never did tell us the story about why you suddenly gave up gambling in pool. How about a little story telling to get our juices flowing for the day? What does that mean, you gave up gambling on pool? So if you and I were in a room together, and some guy started saying what a chump you were compared to his stallion, and I decided to put some hefty bucks on you with this dude and you ended up cleaning his clock all night long, would you say "God be with you Driver" and let me keep all the money? Or...would you gladly accept a "small donation" so to speak from all of our efforts? :D
Just trying to figure this out... :cool:

seems strange to me that when i played no one would play me for cash except
johnny, efren, parica and a few others and even then i had to play them even .
now seems people will play for money although not sure how much. we were in a bar on friday and some guy asked to play golf on the six footer for $100&10 . so i said i will play $500&50 just to see what he would say and he said ok:). and i said jk i dont gamle pool no more. and he knew from another guy that i was a good player. back in the days i would have loved this. but if i was playing dont really think it would have happened. hmm strange how that works:)
