okay, well I am a Predator BK2 break cue guy but never really cared much for their playing cues.

Yesterday, my buddy let me hit with his new setup, a BK3 break butt that he bought a uniloc Vantage shaft for and tell ya what, that setup hit and played extremely well.

I am impressed.

He was basically looking to streamline equipment so he could use a 1x2 case and I think he did real good.

We put the Vantage shaft on my BK2 (much longer uniloc pin compared to the BK3) and it hit just as well.

This can be an excellent choice for those wanting to travel light.

best,
brian kc

Their new 3rd gen shafts do play very well, I changed to a 314'3 along with a predator butt recently and I must admit that I am positively surprised on how well I am playing with the new setup. It just works well for my stroke :o

Just as Kimmo said the 3rd gen shafts do play very well. I had a 314-3 and my potting and accuracy improved. I then tried a Vantage and I have not looked back since then.

I've also had Mezz & OB shafts but the Vantage works best for me.

After going back and forth from from Maple to LD's my most recent was a Pred 314/3 back in bag after 3 months. Old, tight grain maple for me.

Interesting concept KC. I like to travel light and primarily use a 'Wave' 2x3 Player, Break cues w/ nice sleeve in long pocket for jump handle. Rig is small with good pocket space. I like the 1x2 Idea, nice and compact:groucho:
