I'm ready to play

Rude Dog

<---Dumb and Dumber
I'm ready to play again and I'm hungry for a big win. The lack of tournaments here in Arizona, especially where I live in Kingman, leads me to believe that I'm on my way out of here to get on the tournament trail, again. Does anyone have any information on where there are tournaments within driving distance that I would be able to play every week? I know I can win, that's not a problem, I just need to play as much as I possibly can against good players. I will play anyone if they want to come here and play on a bar table, or on a 9 ft. Olhausen at my friends house, and that goes for all of you guys in L.A. that play at Hard Times. Just give me a call at 928-692-9476 and we can set something up. Oh, and any pool player that also bowls, you've got action there if we play both games, 9 ball, races to 9,10,11, and the same in bowling. Just tired of sitting around waiting for something to happen around here, I'll just put the challenge out there and see what happens. Peace to all.

Since my brothers used to live in Kingman, John, I'm a little familiar with the scene. Is there a community rec center there for underaged kids? Maybe you could generate a little interest in pool with the youngsters. If they don't have a 9-foot table, get a fund-raiser going and enlist the help of the kids to raise monies to purchase one. This could be a win-win for everyone.

With your experience and background, you'd be a great tournament director. By getting something like this going, you would be helping your community as well as creating a new audience in your area. There may be some veteran players in your community who love to shoot, but are unaware of a place to go, other than a bar. Sometimes when volunteering to make something happen, it comes back to you 10-fold. There may be a future champion right in your neck of the woods just waiting to be discovered!

If there are few pool opportunities available in Kingman, this may be a way to make something happen.

How far is L.A. from Kingman?
