I'm so tired of seeing the same old FS threads

So, perhaps you should call the police and have whoever it is that is holding a gun to
your head to force you to view that post/listing, arrested.
Or, you could explore the wonders of the ignore function.

I agree with the OP, F/S has gone to shit. If you start ignoring cues being offered then the seller finally puts up a new cue and its actually decent you will miss it. I used to go to the F/S section every day, but I got sick of seeing the same over priced cues too, or 1 seller listing 20 cues. I dont go there looking for cue dealers, I can find cue dealers with my search engine. The first 3 years I was a member here I bought 3 cues from AZB F/S section, I wont be buying anymore because I dont visit that section anymore. I am not losing out on anything by not spending my hard earned dollars here, its the sellers who are losing out, they should be irate. If you sell cues there go ahead and insult everyone who no longer cares for the direction the F/S section has gone, it doesnt cost the buyers any money.

Am I the only one on AZ that thinks the For Sale forum is just fine? Only being able to bump every 48 hours has helped tremendously. I can usually search through a days worth of cue posts/bumps in 10-15 minutes. I check the For Sale forum a few times every day. The search function works great if you are looking for something in particular.

There are at least two of us.

I don't really get why people get so upset about things like this. When I have extra cash burning a hole in my pocket, and I have an urge for another cue, I can always find something in the classifieds here that I'm interested in and that's priced fairly. I jump past the ones that aren't - it's not difficult.

As far as such cues not selling, I agree with some posters who suggest alternate strategies for selling, but I also know that I've personally had cues up for sale for months here, priced so that I break even or make a little, and they eventually sell. If not here, somewhere else where I'm selling them. I don't see any reason to knock people for their selling strategy any more than we should knock people for not knowing how to formulate a thought effectively in a post.
