Anybody here going? I hear they are teaching a two day class too ($1000 a student) for those who are interested.

...and for those who are wondering, PJ held up his end, playing Mika a race to 5. At one point Pat was up 3-0, iirc, but Mika found his stroke, and ran out most of the next 5 games, to win 5-3.

There was a great crowd at Pressure Billiards tonight!...more people than I have ever seen in there at once. All three pros were a lot of fun to watch, play and talk to. Of the three, Bustamante seems to have the most fluid stroke...just like BUTTER! LOL Everyone who wanted, got pictures taken, autographs signed, and opportunities to ask questions about nearly anything they wanted. It was a fun evening, and Django was still on the table playing, when I left at midnight! Thanks to Waheeb Merchant, and all the crew at Pressure!

That's about right, except Mika didn't have to find his stroke; he just had to find a chance to use it. My strategy of not letting him shoot worked perfectly until I missed in the fourth rack, and then Mika liked my strategy so much he adopted it and didn't miss for the next five (in a race to five). Oy vey.

It was a lot of fun, with me mugging for the hometown crowd and Mika playing the willing straight man. In fact all three of the guys, Mika, Francisco and Charlie, were great fun to hang out with. I'd have loved to spend the night playing with them but had to get up early today and convincingly fake consciousness at the office.

By the way, I wasn't the only amateur to get a few games on the wire last night; a couple others got 3 games in their races to five - one of us even went hill-hill with Charlie.
