It ALL comes down to contact, like the old public tv show, contact...between the tip and the cueball.

There is no other control moment but that. It controls the balls, the game, the match, the money, the reputation...ALL of it emenates from that contact of leather and plastic.

Kind of a silly thing to get excited about, when a guy thinks about it, isn't it?
