I would like to meet somebody out there to shoot a few games... No gambling lol Just want to meet some new people and make some friends. Maybe play a weekly tournament if there is one. I'm staying until the 27th, pm me your number or something so we can shoot. :cool: BTW I have no idea where any of the pool halls are there lol
 
Sure Al, I'll play ya. I have other friends that play too, if anyone else wants to get a cheap game going.
 
I was just in NYC and I also go and play at Amsterdam Billiards. Great pool hall and a lot of nice people in there.

I heard he playes a set to 9 in a tourneyt that lasted 4 hours+...or maybe it was 9 hrs.

Could that be true? And if so, what is he doing with all thew time he is collecting? Does he know something we don't? WTF?!

How hard can it be?

Lol I cant say for sure but I have heard similar things. In his defense I will say he beat me a set once, nothing unusual happened. Also watched him lose a set to a friend of mine, again no funny stuff.
 
Steinway Cafe and Billiards in Queens have a weekly 9-ball tournament every Monday and Wednesday night. Soho Billiards has a weekly 9-ball tournament on Tuesday nights.

During the daytime, check out Amsterdam Billiards, its within walking distance of either Soho and Society.

Bicycle race? We might be able to do a little something. If not that, then it would be just as fair to do something we know I do better than you, so let me know if you come up with anything that gives me a distinct advantage.
