I play a small weekly tournament, and I noticed that i have better concentration when I am playing against better players or when I don't like the person :) , but when I am playing players who is on the same level or lower than I am, I tend to concentrate less and sometimes lose, so how do I put myself in the zone against any players?

Two books might help, The Inner Game of Tennis and The Pleasures of Small Motions. Mostly they have you focus on the action more than the outcome, and that can lead to fewer distracting thoughts. Some people hate the "get your head in the right place" books, but I really found them useful.

I think Zen and the Art of Archery has been mentioned here to have a similar message.

... The Inner Game of Tennis ...
I just saw the latest edition of this in a bookstore. The foreword is by Bill Gates. He says he recommends the book to his friends. I imagine he is saying that because he thinks it's true rather than because he has been paid a lot for the nice words.

Not many have enough to look like a lot to him.
