Folks -

I am going to replace the tip on my Jump/Break cue here shortly and have heard raving reviews on some tips and not so great on others. In your opinion(s) what are the best tips out there and a good source to purchase some? Thanks.

i like the fury j/b for 125$ish breaks good jumps good leather wrap.

mike at omgea has a new line for 150$ range they are great too. maybe better then the fury. very very stiff but it leaves black marks on the 1 ball somehow but not the cueball

then there is j&j for 60$

these three are every bit as good as the 400$ customs.

From what I've read, White diamond tips are the most popular.
I've seen them on Ebay.

I like White Diamond as well .. if you want one, I'll sell you one for $5. It's 14mm.

Thanks for all of the replies. I think I amy try out one of the White Diamond tips.

I favor the White Diamond also put it on every Jump Break I can find ... They tend to hold chalk better and I seem to be able to get a little more english with them. I get good pop with them also ... There is a guy on ebay that sells them for like 3 tips for right around 11.00 ....

I keep hearing about the Icebreaker by Tiger and I love Tiger made tips I use the Everest on all my cues and like the Sniper as well....Guess I will have to try it one day...

ariel carmeli has an awesome break tip too. it's really hard leather so it holds chalk amazingly well and is perfect for breaking. it jumps as good as any other jump cue i've used as well.

I've been using a white diamond tip on an old Cuetec graphite as a break cue. The white diamond is an excellent break tip.
