Incomplete transaction with barrosm

bump this up.

barrosm offered to pay for a new ferrule, tip and a cleaning.

bnow declined.

apparently shafts are ruinned bc they are blue and ferrule is cracked.:rolleyes:

all can be fixed with ease.

now bnow is asking ME to send him $150 and recoupe from barrosm when all i was trying to do is help him out.

50$ for a new ivory ferrule tip and clean up is great! no matter who pays for it

some nerve, huh...

if so print out all post from myself and barrosm on this topic, when you go to bed tonight, read them, and when you start to feel sleepy, make yourself a coffee, and read them again.
I am hoping you'll wake up the next morning and say:

"ohhh i get it, matt doesnt want to spend $50 to have 3 shafts for the cue he bought, he just wanted to $150 from manny that manny agreed to send, AFTER matt had purchased the new shaft from AE"

Whereas your offer to clean shaft and replace ferrule with free shipping, was a generous offer, the simple fact is, The offer should not have been made to me.
The offer should have been made to your new buddy Barrosm, so that he can recoup some of the loss for His mistake ( possibly re=selling the shaft at his own convinience).

Should i keep typing out the facts so that maybe the last person that doesn't get it (you), might just "get it".

Your PM to me on 11/09 at 4.05 pm was:

Since then you have pm'd me once and posted 2 replys on 2 different threads (incomplete transaction, and Barrosm's AE cue thread).


Both posts and the pm have had a very antagonistic tone.
I prefered the first PM where you said that this is the last you will comment on the matter. period.

matt let it go already, it was your choose to buy the new shaft i offered to fix or buy back cue with the orginal shafts not a 3rd lets get that straight several times, dave was trying to help all the negative feed on dave is uncalled for.:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Manny i haven't left a single negative rep mark for ANYONE ever on az.


The only rep mark i gave someone was a positive one, for cueball1950 after he posted in NPR his story about saving an owl.


Those red marks came from other AZ members who read all the posts and made their own minds up about the whole thing.

you asked for this by posting in barrosms f/s thread begging me to give you money and getting it back from manny.

you must be out of your mind. the fact that you would even consider posting that amazes me.

BOTTOM LINE. he made an offer to fix the shaft. YOU DECLINED.

he should not have to buy your shaft nor should you have went ahead and purchased a shaft with the expectation of him paying for it . thats on you

the ferrule was cracked it can be fixed. shaft is blue it can be clean.

your unwillingness to resolve this is the reason why your stuck!!!

why made me judge judy. u did. i would never commented on this until you called me out for trying to help you.

i dont have to "pick sides" however one is willing to fix the shaft and pay for it. then the other declined. its a no brainer

stop playing you violin for everyone. you had many chances to make the deal complete and have declined everytime. you get what you deserve.

Someone here missed the fact that Mbnow got shafted from the beginning. Why not expend your energy on making the original deal right instead of mudding the waters.

Nope, there's another mistake. Referring to the party who was shafted on this deal as not smart. Dave, thought you were turning over a new leaf in this forum, but it appears you're sliding backwards again. Hope you right the ship. :(

MBNow I can see that you were owed a new AE shaft and was told you would be paid for the shaft from seller, so I hope you get paid soon as it has been to long already. I wont even look at a post for sell from the seller ever again because he's not doing the right thing, and I hope all AZer's feel the same way. And after reading DS post of the crooked cue he sold that got crooked during transit and other dumb post that he has made I would not let him put a free lepro on a crooked shaft.

Dave is the most annoying poster on this forum. He is simply a dyslexic dolt who is in over his head if the reading comprehension level is above 8th grade. He is too dumb to understand the issue here. Dave wants to be important, not realizing that he has already attained his natural level of (in)competence, but anything he posts has no import. We aren't talking glass ceiling here.

Dave was asked to get involved by MATT himself. Dave's intentions were good. Matt, you have aired your dirty laundry. This would have only been necessary had you paid for the cue and the cue did not even arrive!! That would have been a total screwing! IMO all this boils down to is lack of knowledge on both parts. Barrosm screwed up by sending it with cracked ferrule. However he offered to make right and I'm sure he will. He also offered to buy it back. He also ran into a tight spot mabye and that happens also. In the long run I am sure everybody involved in this mess are good people. But Matt, In my honest opinion even though you don't know me nor care you hurt yourself more. Nobodys perfect and it sound like you expected a new shaft that you did not deserve. It also sounds like some blueing leads you to believe that it's no good?? Sounds like your tough to deal with... Actually a blued shaft is just what you want if your gonna play with it. Matt and Manny, I mean no harm to either. Just my 2 cents that mabye helps. Anyway, good luck to all and remember to treat others as you would want to be treated!!!!!!!!:D

Given your past history, it is no surprise that you would be supportive of a guy who does the ol' bait and switch and another guy who sold a warped cue.
