I have a 1st generation AMF Grand Prix that I need moved from one side of Indianapolis to the other. The seller would like to get it moved in the next 2 weeks. I would like someone familiar with the model and as expert as I can find. The table is down one flight and needs to go up one flight (both spacious) about 40 miles away.

I called Jack Zimmerman and he is booked till the end of Feb.

Thanks in advance.

Message Trentfromtoledo here. If he can't help you out, he may be able to refer you to someone.

Pretty sure he already got in touch through facebook. Its 3.5 hours to Indy. Gonna cost him $$$$$ for my crew to roll out there.

I referred him to someone in Indy that I know, must not have worked out for him.

Sorry, that is true, I am trying.

I think I need to find somebody local and while I find a number of local "movers" I want somebody passionate and knowledgeable.

Randy is not a mover. He has many years in the business. He is probably not cheap and anyone who knows what they are doing aren't going to be either.

I don't move pool tables at all really. If someone has something that I want to work on and its already onsite, I might take it. People are generally cheap and I am not, so that does not work out.

I get all kinds of crazy calls and responses like this when I say no: " What do you mean you won't move a valley bar box into my basement for $300.00??"

"Why won't you move a single slate 9' Diamond into my basement?"

Risk vs. Reward is why.

I am not looking for cheap, that was my point. I must have misunderstood your recommendation of Randy Burke. I will find contact information and see if he is interested.

If you had bothered to respond to my facebook you might have noticed I sent you his number. Randy (317) 945-3830 • mobile. You are welcome.

Yes, you are right, that is where your profile took me. What I should have said was I don't USE facebook, once we had the initial conversation I did not get notification that you left any more notes.

It is all fine now, I took your advice and have contacted Randy.

Thanks
