Airport Billiards on Washington St. Take I-465 on the west side of Indy to the Washington St. exit. Go west on Washington St. and Airport Billiads will be on the left side of Washington St. It sits back off of Washington St. by a Bowling Alley and it is connected to another building that I forget the name of. You may run into Jeanette Lee there.

The Bowling Alley has tables too. Airport is sort of in back of the parking lot, but you can still see it from the road, it'll be on the right side of the parking lot next to the HUGE bowling Alley.

Crawdidio, you are right he did get my number. Wasn't my best game, toooooo many libations. Looking forward to try and best him. Maybe some 1-hole. I'll buy some beers for us. Much appreciated for the input on the pool halls. I'll get Boyd a coke. Thanks. I-L-L I-N-I.!

Illinoy,
You may not thank them after you see the pitiful conditions at Airport - tables are terrible - but usually some gambling action. Chalkies on the northeast side (just east of Allisonville on 82nd St.) is by far the nicest pool hall in Indy (gourmet food, non-smoking, great 8 and 9 foot tables, sells alcohol). No alcohol at Airport.

I'd agree with that. The conditions are horrible, and everytime I have been in there, there are kids in there in the bar/order area. I met a guy named Gordon in there. Nice guy. But too many kids and rough tables. IIRC the tables in the bowling alley were 8 footers, nice, but a littel pricey compared to Airport.

BJ,
Even with the conditions, you and Worm are correct that it is the place to gamble - I still go there periodically to play. Gordon is a regular, played in the DCC banks last year and lost hill-hill to Jeanette Lee by one ball. There are some VERY proficient players, and as soon as I finish studying your lessons I hope to be able to compete more favorably with some of them.
