Indy Pool Scene

I grew up there and moved away at 23 shortly after I started playing, so don't know all that much. Not ruling out moving back at some point, so curious what the pool scene is like now. Rooms, leagues, local tourneys, etc. Not much interest in playing on bar tables. I've been to Executive and Airport and remember Chalkie's, but that's about it.

EDIT: maybe I'm thinking of the Brickyard, the place near the airport on the west side. I thought it was called Airport before that...

The Brickyard. Stopped in there a few years ago on New Years Day. Was in town to watch the Raiders v Colts. IIRC they have a mix of 8' and 9', a 3C and a snooker table.
Andmore than enough of loud music.

Yes, I believe that it is APA. Not much on the north side, that I'm aware of. Executive recently closed; another old school room gone.

I hate to hear that about Executive. I met up with a dude there to sell a cue probably 10-15 years ago or so and that place was legit.

I'm heading to Indy for the weekend and will probably go to Brickyard on Sat. afternoon. If anyone here wants to hit a few, shoot me a message. Are their house cues decent or should I fly a beater cue with me?

I remember asking and someone said Brickyard was the only place in Indy w 9 foot tables IIRC. No idea on the house cues but the parking lot had some crazy pot holes in it the last time I was there!! Purdue has a few 9 foot diamonds otherwise there's no other big tables here, OBrians in Evansville had 2 or 3 9 foot Diamonds.
