INFO NEEDED - Bludworth Sneaky Pete

Bluds

I found an old Giusepp'e 2X4 case, and low and behold, it contained a Bludworth sneaky pete butt and matching shaft.
I have to admit, I was not familiar with this particular cue maker's mark.
But, I knew something was up, when I examined the stick and noted the unusual pin, the red spot on the butt cap and the quality parts used in it's construction. Upon a brief interweb search, I quickly found out what I had, sort of.
I had a good friend who knows Leonard personally, look at it. He called Mr Bludworth up and was discussing it with him on the spot. He confirmed that it was most likely his work but I am still unsure of it's approximate age, and maybe even it's value?
Why don't you just buy it from me...

Any takers?

Own one myself, played about 8 yrs with it. Early Bluds have a small blood dot, about 1/8 in., just measured it LOL. Leonard! Later Bluds have a larger blood dot. Have seen mine on EBay twice for $400. Too much IMO. Probably worth $200 . I have turned down $200 several times but it was my player! Stiff playing cue as are most full splice cues. I still have every cue I ever owned!! Like old girlfriends they bring back fond memories. Especially that Blud which was so stiff in those old days and so was I!!!

if it has the allen head screw in the bumper its most likely donald built the cue i'd ask him but he no longer works for southeast cues

Trying to get some extra spending money for tomorrow nights game?

LOL...No. I can get by with much less...

Just looking to give someone an opportunity to own a very nice cue. It deserves to be shot and not a case queen...

If you would, Murray, could you corroborate the condition for me? I'm fairly new on here and these fine folks don't know me like most in our neck of the woods...

Bring it tomorrow and I will measure it and report it here. That is it I have time between beer drinking and hitting the money ball into the diamond.

I checked out the cue Wed night and it is in very good condition. Has the normal bruises and nicks around the butt cap like a player cue should have. Very straight with no buzzes, rattles etc.

Shaft: 3.66oz, 12.86mm at base of ferrule.
butt: 14.17oz.

Thanks, Murray...
Hey, I checked out your website and I am both impressed and a bit jealous. LOL.
If you ever need a very capable apprentice, who can listen and follow precise directions, let me know. Seriously...
