Info needed on.....OLD.....Viking

A friend of mine gave me this cue tonight to find some information about. Someone gave it to him to make a new shaft and they were interested in its age and possible value. Its in rough shape and the original shaft is 100% not playable. The butt however rolls very straight for its age, damn near perfect actually. Its a 4 point cue with no veneers and a brass joint that says "The Viking Cue Company" in the window above the buttcap.

Im not sure what he is planning on doing with the cue but if anyone is interested in it I will pass it along.

Just in case anyone is curious or has a cue like this and needs some info, I talked with Viking and its from the late 60s. Actually, the person I talked with said it was the oldest Viking they had seen and they dont have much info on cues from that era, other than when they were made basically.
