I've seen theses colors before on BBC butterfly's but the return points on this one don't look as tight as BBC. There were many other company's that made cues like this. It's an 80s Scruggs....haven't seen shaft pilots like that before.

Not just the return points, but the thickness of the veneers looks perhaps non-Brunswick. Maybe Rieper? But that's a guess.

Incidentally, I don't think all the Brunswicks were always so perfect...in addition age, shrinkage, and glue breakdown can make points look less perfect than they once might have been.

Very cool cue by the way. I don't think I have ever seen a TS like this.

I guessed Rieper before but how about maybe Luscher?

I'll be curious what Frey says.

Those joint inserts and joint style should be telling. I just can't put my finger on it.

I'm very curious as well. Emailed mr Frey yesterday. I hope he checks his email. Very hard for me to call him on biz hours due to the time difference
