Info on Schon please

A friend jsut got a Schon from a friend of our's and was curious about its production date and year and possible worth!

ANY info on this cue would be greatly appreciated!!

On the shaft collar it says SCHON 13

Cue has Purpleheart Veneers and and rings with ivory ovals in them. As for as we know everything is original including the shaft! Thanks!

The cue was made in 1993, that was the only year that Schon was stamped in the shaft collar, since that time Schon as printed on shafts is nothing more than a decal and located above the collar diagonally on the wood. This was done due to a large number of counterfeit Schon shafts being produced by persons unknown and being sold all over the USA as Schon shafts. There is some additional information in the 3rd Edition of the Blue Book of cues, along with what I have included above.
