info on this cue

i would say in present condition.. wich it doesnt look that great from the pictures.. but still looks very playable.. and assuming its not warped, i would say its probably worth about 100 to 130... but that would have to be in person.. because if you had to ship it to somebody for the extra $20 shipping would cost it would make it $150 and that would put it on the hard decision line to buy that or something else thats newer..
resell on cues that are beat up isnt that great.. if it was in atleast 85% condition or better, i would say it could have been worth closer to $175 to 200... and thats even tough to say because of what people are selling fancier ones in better condition for.. its a shame.. its a buyers market and the used production cues arent doing so well these days..

Thanks Chris, that's good news for me, because I want to put a phenolic tip on it and use it as a break cue. I didn't want to unknowingly use something more valuable.
it would make a great break cue.. but if somebody has any other opinions on thoughts of value.. i would like to see what other ppl think too..

I would buy a break shaft from J&J and you'll have a good break cue.

I was actually about to comment how you should not use an earlier Joss shaft on a break stick LOL, they tend to play really good. I loved the shaft on my early 90s Joss which is the same era as this one.
That logo is one from after the gold letter cues.. They moved the logo from the joint to butt sleeve.. This was the logo before they started the serial numbers.. This cue is late 90's I would say

They do play good. I kept it in my case for years, but never used it because I am way too far down the Predator Z2 shaft route to be able to switch back and forth. Mostly saved it for opponents who didn't have their cue with them. Don't have money to buy another cue right now, so it worked out. It makes an awesome break cue so far.
