I'm interested in learning anything the forum members know about these cues and how they're made, play, etc.

There isn't a lot of information out there from what I can find. Are they very new?

Thanks,
Johnny

I happen to own one, but I'm definitely not a cue connoisseur. I was lucky enough to win one in an azbilliards raffle. It's a beautiful cue, simple and clean. Ebony fully spliced into purpleheart into a birdseye forearm. As far as the workmanship, really nice. My cue guy was really admiring the work when I had the tip replaced. The splices, ring work, lizard wrap all look great. He was really surprised he hasn't heard of them.

Just had the same tip, Kamui Black SS, that I had on my old cue installed. It has a nice solid hit, stiffer than my now sold Mcdermott OB-1 combo. Really love how it plays. A lot of that is difference in the shaft though. The few people I've let hit it really liked it save my one friend that doesn't like smaller tips.

I've only had this cue for a couple of weeks, but I couldn't be happier with it. You should PM either KOINNKID and/or poolfool1957 if they don't see this thread first.

Johnny, you do know that they are based out of Minnesota? Like the other person mentioned, you can contact Koinnkid. You could probably meet up with him also, since he is often at CR's or Two Stooges. I do not know a lot about the cues. I do believe they have only been out for a year or two.

Thanks Ross. I had no idea they were in Minnesota. That will answer a lot of my question if I can play with one.

They set up at a tournament we did a few weeks ago. I havent played with their cues, but I can tell you they are two great guys.

I am the shop owner of TNT cues. TNT cues and SneakiestPetes are built in my shop. We are based in MN and have been building cues for about 2 years now. PM me if you need anything more or if you are interested in getting a cue made. I have a few done and ready to go. Also you may PM poolfool1957 he has several nice cues we made him for sale at this time. Rick has been with me as a dealer since the begining of TNT cues. He has designed some really nice stuff.

Got to ask this question. Why is your playing cue a JW Hoppe and not a TNT cue?

That is a very good question. I have been playing pool with the JW a lot longer then I have been building cues. Also everytime I make a cue for myself to use I end up selling it.

Hmm

My player is a Spain, but when I can't play with it because of various "conditions" I play with a TNT sneaky pete, and I don't miss a beat switching from my spain to the TNT, I kid you not!!
