I'm new to threads. thought i could ask questions here as i did with another inherited cue. sorry

You should post this in the Main forum, you posted it in the For Sale section. Head to the main forum and ask around, get a price, then list for sale ;)

oh thank you. won't I get "bumped" for posting a similar or same message?

Nope, it was a mistake, not an issue. Just go create a new thread and then report this one so it can be deleted. You can also report it and ask that it be moved but it's easier to delete a thread then to move a thread ;)

Yeah, those rings scream mid range model. I'm wondering if it wasn't a custom order?
From Pechauer web site
Pechauer Custom Cues is truly a custom shop. Since virtually every part is made in our shop located in Green Bay, Wisconsin we have the capability to customize your cue in ways other cue makers cannot.

thank you to all who have replied to my inquiry about the PJ03-N (or 2) cue.

since my father's passing, the cue has not been taken out until this past weekend. i am in the very early stages of preparing it to be sold.

after unsuccessful searches, my main purpose for posting on this forum was to gather information about this particular cue.

I am now in the process of contacting JPechauer to get the specs.

as soon as I have gathered all of the pertinent information and I will notify those who have expressed interest first.

I apologize, and hope this clears up any confusion by posting in the wrong place.

What I found as did Chill Palmer had with a simple Google search was a new price of $ 340.00 without the case .
I'd suggest that you get a rogue shaft and use it I really enjoy shooting with the one I have in honor of whomever thought highly enough of you to give you a nice pool cue .

i saw that one. when i put my cue next to the one on Google it's not identical. are there variations to the same cue? could the sticker at the base of the butt showing # and wt be incorrect? just asking..

It's possible the original seller put the wrong sticker on it but doubtful, like measureman said, they make custom cues and any of their cues can be customized. I think someone either ordered it with the special rings and darker color and couldn't pay for it or the original retail establishment ordered it custom. I would think they would've put something on the sticker.

Or, it was simply just made that way? Hard to tell, it's a good looking stick and it's condition you won't have a hard time selling it.

It looks like that current model with similar inlays goes for $400 to $450.

I sold my Pechauer P10 about a year and a half ago for $350 and it took 4 months to sell. Mine had points and was a little higher up on the ladder then yours but not that far. You can also get a merry widow (plain jane - no inlays and no fancy ringwork) for around $300. I don't think $325-350 is a bad place to start.

Good luck with the sale.

and there is no JP on this cue. only signature on the side

I noticed their website mentions it but I didn't have that on mine either. Mine was an '03 so I wonder if it's only newer cues that have it.

Also, I didn't include the case in my price, maybe $400 for both?
